Research, not authentication

CoinLab helps identify coins and banknotes and organize a collection. Identification and AI-generated observations can be wrong. Reference values are not professional appraisals, authentication, investment advice or a promise of sale price. Check important conclusions with qualified specialists. Guide display images may be enhanced illustrations and must not be used to judge an item's condition or authenticity.

Free and paid features

Basic identification is free, subject to network availability and reasonable service limits. CoinLab Pro unlocks reference values and valuation observations where data is available. Launch Guide coverage focuses on United States and Canadian coins and banknotes; coverage and data completeness vary by item.

Subscriptions and trials

Weekly and yearly auto-renewable plans are offered through Apple. The app and Apple's confirmation sheet show the actual local price, billing period and eligible introductory offer. A free trial, when offered, becomes a paid subscription at the displayed price unless cancelled. Trial eligibility is determined by Apple.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Cancelling stops future renewal under Apple's rules; it does not automatically refund the current period. Deleting the app or your CoinLab account does not cancel a subscription.

Manage, restore and refund

Manage subscriptions in Apple Settings or Apple's subscription page. Restore eligible purchases using Restore purchases in the app with the same App Store Apple Account. Request refunds through Apple. CoinLab cannot directly refund App Store charges.

Responsible use

Upload only photos you have the right to use. Do not use the service unlawfully, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with other users. You retain your rights in your uploaded content and allow its processing to deliver the requested identification. Any additional use to supplement reference samples or train and improve recognition requires your explicit permission as described in our Privacy policy.

Intellectual property and content rights

Except for user-provided content, rights in CoinLab's software, branding, and content belong to NexVant L.L.C. or their respective rights holders, where applicable. Third-party materials are used under applicable licenses or other lawful permissions. Some content may be AI-generated; no exclusive ownership of such content is asserted unless supported by applicable law. Users retain any rights they hold in the content they submit.

Availability and your rights

Identification requires an internet connection. Features may be temporarily unavailable and reference data may change. Premium features require a verified active subscription. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. The Apple standard licensed application agreement also applies where applicable.
